The car went back to the garage this week. It was behaving strangely, and rather that wait until it was too late, I went to the garage on Tuesday to ask them what it could be. The mechanic diagnosed a problem with the crankshaft pulley, and showed me it was very worn. He didn’t have a car to lend me on Tuesday, so I asked if I could bring it back another day. I took it on Thursday, and they did the job in the day. It seems to be smoother to drive now. We’re just praying that we can now keep the car for a while when we can save money for the next one.
