According to a poll from 2010, only 10% of French protestant Pastors (including liberal and evangelicals) believe in the historicity of Genesis 1-3. The same pole results show that only 22 % of protestants believe the same. About 1/3rd of Protestants are Evangelicals. You can see the results of this poll here.
The question about their reason for being protestant is a bit worrying.
I’m trying to be optimistic and hoping that some of those who went for the first option – that it’s about the meaning of creation – also believe in the historicity… maybe…? :-/
