It is Christmas again
A small parcel arrived today with a Christmas present for Maxime and one for Esther. It was caught in the backlog after the snow hit the UK before Christmas.
The weekend ahead
Youth group tonight, fourth session of Christianity explored: why did Jesus die? Only two are able to come.
Sermon preparation for tomorrow: John 5:17-30: We must honor the Son because he is in all his works equal with the Father.
I am also taking the Tuesday afternoon Bible study for the next 4 weeks and need to decide on what we are going to do.
Habakkuk 3:17-18
Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior.
